About Us:
Spirit of Dance Company is a Dance Studio located in Cartersville, GA. It was founded in 2000 by Ms. Tanecia Weems and became an LLC in 2007.
We offer dance instruction in a number of dance disciplines, including: Ballet, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, Jazz, Praise, Hip-Hop, and Tumble. We also specialize in choreographing special dances for events such as Quinceañeras and Bat Mitzvah's. Along with classes at the studio, Spirit of Dance Company also hosts Community Dance Programs, Creative Movement, Dance, and After School Dance programs at multiple Daycare and Elementary Schools.

About the Director, Ms. Tanecia:

Ms. Tanecia received her training in Atlanta, GA at Atlanta Ballet, Gotta Dance Company, and Dancical Productions. She teaches all level classes for children and adults in all disciplines offered at Spirit of Dance Company (Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Jazz, Praise, Hip Hop, Beginner's tumble).

Spirit of Dance Company was founded on the principle that all people, no matter age, race, gender, or financial status; should be able to participate in a quality school of dance.
This principle was fostered from the dream of supplying the youth of Cartersville and surrounding areas, a place to learn the fine art of dance and keep away the pressures that adolescent life can have, i.e. drugs, alcohol, and teenage pregnancy.
Spirit of Dance Company is here to provide services in a positive, nurturing atmosphere. We combine top quality dance instruction with affordable prices.
