Spirit of Dance Company Competition Team

The Spirit of Dance Company Competition team launched in 2012 with just three dancers. These three girls took to the challenge of many practices and long hours easily. Then, they went on to take the competitions by storm! 

In 2013, the team competed at IDC (International Dance Challenge) and Marvonna, bringing home medals from both events.

At IDC, the girls were presented with the Judge's Choice Award as well as 2nd place in their division. From Marvonna, the girls took away 1st place in their division as well as 3rd place overall for duo/trio.
This year, we will be competing with pieces in Jazz/Hip-Hop and Contemporary/Jazz. Dancers will be required to have tan slip on jazz shoes and tan tights. (More information below)

Qualifications:

Ø  All dancers MUST be enrolled in a Company class

Additional Requirements:

Ø  All Participants Must take at least 1 workshop offered by Spirit of Dance Company ($25)

Ø  Dancers must perform all dances taught by the instructor. They may not pick and choose which they would prefer to do.

Ø  Dancers are required to attend at least one 90-minute practice/week.

Ø  Dancers may NOT miss more than 4 practices. If more than 4 are missed, the dancer will be dismissed from the team.
